For many of the modules within the training scheme there are alternative methods of learning available to the learner.

If you would like to consider using these methods, rather than attending courses, you should discuss this with your training advisor or manager.

Do not assume these are necessarily an easy option, as with all methods of learning the subsequent validation is still a crucial part of the process, and the same standard of knowledge will still have to be demonstrated.

However, they are a valuable addition to the range of learning methods available, and for those unable to attend courses, may well be an appropriate option.
